ME Virtuoso is a platform for mechanical engineers providing interactive browser-based design and simulation tools — covering gear systems, drive mechanisms, tolerance analysis, and linkage simulators. Engineers use the tools to visualise and configure mechanical systems such as planetary gear trains, cycloidal drives, harmonic drives, and gearboxes directly in the browser without CAD software.
The platform runs on WordPress with Avada/Fusion Builder and required resolving a critical JavaScript conflict — a plugin bundling its own jQuery after WordPress's noConflict jQuery was overwriting the $ variable and breaking Fusion Builder functionality site-wide. The engagement combined diagnosing and fixing this conflict with building out the membership access system and tool landing pages.
The completed ME Virtuoso website gives mechanical engineers an organised, fast-loading destination for interactive design tools — with premium membership gating the most advanced simulator features.
