PanelsAI is a SaaS platform leveraging AI to power research panels and stakeholder analysis workflows. The platform enables users to create AI-driven panels that simulate expert perspectives and generate insights across multiple viewpoints simultaneously.
The project required building a full-stack Next.js SaaS application: OpenAI integration for multi-perspective panel responses, streaming for real-time delivery, Row Level Security for multi-tenant data isolation, Stripe Billing for subscription management, and a clean interface for managing AI panel workflows.
The completed platform demonstrates our capability to take an AI SaaS concept from architecture to production — delivering real AI functionality, not a prototype.

PanelsAI generates coherent, distinct AI expert perspectives simultaneously, requiring a panel orchestration system managing multiple OpenAI API calls with appropriate context management.
Building SaaS requires auth, subscriptions, user isolation, and billing before any AI functionality, so we architected the full foundation using Next.js App Router, Supabase auth, and Stripe.
Multiple simultaneous OpenAI calls generate significant costs at scale, so we implemented token optimisation, response caching, and usage limits per subscription tier.
Waiting for complete panel responses creates poor UX, so we implemented OpenAI streaming with Next.js streaming routes delivering panel responses token by token.
SaaS requires strict data isolation between users, so we implemented Row Level Security in PostgreSQL ensuring database-level isolation for all panel data.
Users need to save and reuse panel configurations for repeated workflows, so we built a template management system with save, reuse, and structured export capability.
